I love to read. I’m sharing book reviews about public speaking and leadership here in case, like me, you’re always on the hunt for a really good book. (Scroll down for the list of titles!)

book-reviewPublic speaking books can help us to hone a specific part of our speech — the intro, the title, the stories. They can even speak about certain types of speeches like a Keynote Address or a wedding toast. If you’re looking for that bit of inspiration, this could be it!

Leadership books can apply in so many directions of your life. For me, leadership speaks to how I run my business, certainly. Leadership is also about things like speaking up for the underdog, helping people to understand you, and being understood. It’s about communication on an entirely new level.

If you are a public speaker or are in Toastmasters now giving speeches, I’ve got news for you — you are a leader already. People are looking for your leadership skills, for direction, ideas, inspiration.

Leadership and public speaking go together like peanut butter and jelly.  Check out these book reviews or (if you’re a member of the Chippewa Valley Toastmasters), submit your own!
