Chippewa Valley Toastmasters is a member of the Western Division Toastmasters from District 35. The Western Division features clubs from Eau Claire, Menomonie, River Falls, New Richmond, La Crosse, Viroqua, Onalaska, and beyond.

Chippewa Valley Toastmasters was chartered March 1st 1986 at Cray Research. Originally a closed company club it was later opened to the public and moved to Eau Claire. The goal of the Chippewa Valley Club is to assist our members in becoming better leaders and speakers.

In May of 2008 Chippewa Valley Toastmasters was recognized by Toastmasters International as Presidents Distinguished the highest designation bestowed on a Toastmasters club.

Current membership ranges from over twenty years to just a few months. The majority of the members, with a few exceptions, are young professionals.
